For Jesus Christ lived his life in a way that should inspire his followers to do likewise. We should be those who long for and actively strive towards well-being and reconciliation instead of tolerating and even sometimes creating anger, hate, brokenness, and despair. God's work of redemption is a work of making shalom. Peace is the state in which God has created all things to exist and flourish. Peace is the state for which God is redeeming the world to know and enjoy.
